Florist Plateau

Our delivery fees for the area known as the Plateau is $12.95.  This includes all areas around the Plateau’s main streets like:   Avenue Mont-Royal, Rue Saint-Denis, Boulevard Saint-Laurent, Rue Rachel, Avenue de Lorimier and all the small streets in between with postal codes that start with: H2X, H2V, and H2T.

Yes we do source our Orchids Cyclamen, Kalonchoe/Calendiva and English Ivy from suppliers in Quebec.  We also source our Azaleas, Lisianthus, Snap Dragons and Tulips from Canadian producers. 

Sourcing locally helps reduce our carbon footprint.

Valentine’s Day deliveries fill up for February 14th, really quickly.

We often get Valentine’s orders as early as two weeks in advance for delivery on the 14th. And often by the 13th of February, our delivery slots for the 14th are at capacity. 

Here are a couple things to take into consideration when sending a Valentine’s Day bouquet or an arrangement from our Pointe-Claire or Westmount stores.

 To avoid the last minute rush, we suggest the following options:

1. Place your order sooner rather than later, to avoid stress of the last minute rush.
2. Send your Valentine’s bouquet or arrangement for delivery on the 13th - this way your recipient can enjoy your gift the entire day.
3. Place your order online as a pick up.  It is a great option if we are at delivery capacity.

Ordering surprise flowers for delivery to the Plateau is easy. When placing your order online, just note in the special instructions that you'd like it to be a surprise. To keep it a secret, use your own phone number in the recipient's field, so our driver can call you instead if they're not home. 

Alternatively, you can call us, and our staff will help ensure your floral gift remains a surprise, no matter where it's delivered.

There are a number of Valentine’s Day flowers options. It all comes down to who the recipient will be and what you want to communicate.

Red roses, like our Explorer, are the quintessential romantic gesture that communicates passion and love.

Pink roses, like our Esperance or Pink Mondial, are a great Valentine’s Day choice if you want to convey feelings of admiration, gratitude, and affection. They are often used to express appreciation and deep admiration for someone, making them a thoughtful choice for someone you care about but may not necessarily be in a romantic relationship with. 

Spray roses (AKA Sweetheart Roses) in yellow or orange are perfect for children because they are often associated with warmth, joy, and youthful enthusiasm. We often recommend them as a good Valentine’s Day option here at Westmount Florist.

Galentine gifts, can be any bouquet or arrangement which keeps within the yellow, pink and orange theme.

That said a great go to would be a bouquet or arrangement that features tulips and/or Gerbera Daisies.
